On February 8th, members of the EAPC17 project team, funded by the Catalan School of Public Administration, met to set its official start.
The meeting was held via Skype given the geographical disparity of the members: Barcelona, Gerona, Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Leeds and York (United Kingdom). At this meeting, the researchers took the opportunity to formally introduce themselves to the group and to establish the basic tasks of the project. Likewise, the meeting helped to resolve doubts of the fieldwork execution and to set the next meeting. The second meeting of the EAPC17 project will be held on March 29th at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. In this one, the researchers will review the tasks done so far and will use part of the meeting to build the questionnaire, essential piece of the project. Finally, this face-to-face meeting will serve to start the organisation of the Sandpit, which will be held in the city of Barcelona in late June or early July. Meanwhile, researchers continue to work on the project, performing tasks in parallel and simultaneous to ensure both the success of the research and the participation of Catalonia and Yorkshire’s Public Administration.
