WP1
Objectives
- Overall management of the administrative/technical/financial and scientific affairs of SOWAEUMED, dissemination and innovation related activities, quality management tool
WP2
Objectives
- Establish a solid basis for research centres and industries from the EU and MED countries to submit high quality proposals for joint research under future Calls
WP3
Objectives
- Specialised trainings of several PhD students and postdoc researchers from MED countries in EU laboratories; hosting experts; scientific visits of senior research staff.
- Participants, should be acquainted with EU norms on waste treatment technologies.
- Explore options for future research collaboration.
WP4
Objectives
- Hiring of experienced researchers to reinforce the human potential of MED centres contributing to develop methodologies for environmental applied research and maintain the institutional scientific level to open international cooperation on similar foot basis.
WP5
Objectives
- Reinforcing R+D infrastructure by upgrading or acquisition of selected equipment will improve the S&T research capacities of MED centres to allow their promising activity to reach a good level in both scientific and technological results facilitating international collaboration on an equal-footing basis.
WP6
Objectives
- Disseminate the research priorities, road maps and collaborative models to key the stakeholders, decision makers and influencing agencies impacting future S&T collaborative policies, work programmes and funding mechanisms in the EU and MED.
