PhD in Communication Sciences (Universitat Ramon Llull, May 2002) on the topic UNESCO and policies on cultural diversity. Head of the Unit “Special Projects of Research”, in the Catalan Audiovisual Council (CAC, the regulatory audiovisual authority). Lecturer in “Communication Policies”, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (years 2005-2007). He has worked in the R+D in Marketing in Televisió de Catalunya (TVC) (years 2000-2001), and in the Research and International Relations Department in the public Catalan Broadcasting Corporation (CCRTV, currently CCMA) (years 1998-2000). Member of the think tank TT30, Club of Rome (from July 2011), and the think tank U40, UNESCO German Commission (from September 2008). Member of the Permanent Secretariat in the Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities. Recent publications: Por un Mercado inteligente. Diversidad cultural, mercado y regulación (2012).
