
Biography: He received the B.S. Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Systems Specialty in 2008 and the M.S. Degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2010, both from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He is currently studying for the M.S. Degree in Design of Telecommunications Systems, also from UAB.
In February 2010 he joined the Wireless and Satellite Communications group under Dr. M.A Vazquez Castro, at ETSE in the UAB, where he has been working as a researcher. During 2010 he worked in the “ANTARES Programme for Air Traffic Management”, subcontracted with INDRA Espacio, funded by the European Space Agency, The Netherlands (ESA) contributing to the optimization and design of the Radio Resource Management and the Link Layer Forward Error Correction tasks.
From October 2010 to now, he is researching in the applicability of Network Coding in satellite networks under the Program in Education for Space Technology Innovation and knowledGE (PRESTIGE) funded by ESA. This programme comprised a 1-year stage period at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC).
