The Research Group for Heidegger Studies was founded in 2012 as a research unit within the Department of Philosophy at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain), in order to consolidate, enhance and make visible the work that in the field of phenomenology and hermeneutics has been continuously developing there since some years ago. Thus, the main aims of the Group is to conform a field work that can allow to collect and channel, as well as encourage, the study and fundamental research on Heidegger's own work, as well as on the trends and lines that converge in -and are projected from- it in contemporary continental philosophy, especially in the field of phenomenology, or in hermeneutics, or from the linkage of both.
