News

(September 2021): GRAFO congratulates the new PhDs who have successfully defended their theses this past academic year: Dr. Diana Oliveros Fortiche, Dr. Beatriz Patraca Dibildox, Dr. Ignacio Fradejas García, and Dr. Johan Fredborn Larsson.

(July 2021): Miranda Lubbers is co-PI of a newly awarded international research project, "Inclusivity Norms to Counter Polarization in European Societies", awarded by the Volkswagen Stiftung.

(April 2021): GRAFO director Miranda Lubbers won an ERC Advanced Grant for the project "A network science approach to social cohesion in European societies".

(March 2021): Paula Escribano, Agata Hummel, José Luis Molina & Miranda Lubbers won the AIBR Best Paper of 2020 award with their paper "Él es emprendedor, pero yo no; yo soy autónomo"

(March 2021): GRAFO has started a Youtube channel, with the help of Jordi Grau.

(Februay 2021): GRAFO member Pepi Soto Marata has a new book out! Crecer y aprender, mientras tanto. El dominio teórico y etnográfico de una Antropología Sociocultural de la Educación.

(January 2021): GRAFO director Miranda Lubbers was awarded an ICREA Acadèmia Fellowship

(Nov. 2020): GRAFO members Jordi Grau, Paula Escribano, Hugo Valenzuela, and Miranda Lubbers won the Journal of Organizational Ethnography´s Literati Award for Outstanding Paper 2020 for their paper "Charities as symbolic families".
