A second area of research refers to the transnational dimensions of everyday life produced by migration (including shelter), mobility and globalization, as well as local intercultural relationships that result from these processes. The research group GRAFO studies transnationalism in terms of the effects it produces on the construction of identities, as well as the organization and creation of new social relationships. In this last sense, it also conducts research on relationships between family and non-family members who maintain active links in the transnational space.
