I have a degree in Literature from the University of Guanajuato (Mexico) (2004). Currently, I am in the PhD program of the Department of Language Teaching Methodology (UAB).
In June 2007, I presented my research work Being Latino in the Catalan school: reflections around identities, language learning and school failure. I had my research degree (DEA) with this work.
My dissertation, still in process, is about the construction of identity through different discourses and conversational acts within the school spaces. I am a research assistant of the Generalitat de Catalunya (AGAUR). As part of my academic training, I collaborate in different projects of GREIP group. I also have worked with Fundació Jaume Bofill.
