The Project School-Labor and Social Inclusion of young people have as principal tarjet to stablish relations between insertion itineraries and exclusion and inclusion processes, and can be a scientific support for strategies about educational and labour policies, as well as social-intervention policies.
These objectives are developed mainly in two areas of research:
a) Understanding the complex processes of education and work and successes of young people (decision-making by actors) in relation to state policy in education, work and citizenship (decision-making by institutions). In the finished project we have focused on schooling; in the project presented now,we pay attention on work and the social inclusion. In short, establishing a relationship between training and employment opportunities, and labour access, are the previous conditions to further emancipation.
b) Understand the impact of young people behavior after compulsory eduación on job search, and the construction of the training pathways through surveys and data from INE. Socio-statistical analysis of the survey will allow us to establish relationships between education and work and the conditions under which the labor market insertion initiates . Likewise, the analysis of the INE database will define the indicators of social inclusion to be considered in the biographical perspective, which is a specificity of GRET.
