Línia de recerca:

Information Structure (topic, focus, contrast…); syntax and prosody; oral speech on Romance languages (Italian, Spanish, Catalan, French); annotation of speech corpora: annotation of Information Structure categories

Breu presentació:

I am an associate professor at the Université Paris Diderot. My research interests focus on Information Structure (notions like topic, focus, contrast) and its relationship with syntax (non-canonical constructions such as dislocations or focus fronting) and prosody. I am also interested in the interaction between IS and discourse, and more specifically, how IS can be derived from the structuring of discourse into Questions Under Discussion. My study is primarly applied to oral speech and to Romance languages. I have collected spoken corpora and worked at the development of annotation schemes for Information-Structure categories, non-canonical constructions, and for Questions Under Discussion in spoken texts.
